Classic American Cocktails
The classic bourbon cocktail made the way it was created at Pendennis Club in Louisville, Kentucky in the late 1800s for bourbon producer Col. James Pepper. Maker’s Mark (the Pepper brand is now discontinued), Bitters, Orange, Cherry, and Simple syrup served on the rocks.
Talk about classic... this cocktail was created and named for the Manhattan Club in New York in the late 1800s. Beam Rye with Sweet Vermouth and Bitters served up or on the rocks.
In 1948 the Bellini was created at Harry’s Bar in Venice, Italy, which was reportedly inspired by the 15th-century Venetian painter Giovanni Bellini. Nino Franco “Primo Franco” Prosecco and Fresh Peach Puree served in a flute.
Another Empire favorite from Victorian London circa 1889. Champagne, Remy Martin Cognac, bitters, and sugar served in a flute.
This cocktail was first seen at the bar of the Hotel Ritz in Paris during the Great War. Cognac, Cointreau and a llittle lemon juice served up in a martini glass.
“Trader Vic” Bergeron created this in Emmeryville, California in 1944. A wonderful mix of rums, sweeteners, and a little Creme de Almond served chilled and strained into a tall glass
Made famous at Shoemaker’s Restaurant in Washington, DC in the 1890’s. Hendricks Gin and lime juice, topped with soda served on the rocks.
House Creations
Cîroc Vodka, distilled from French wine grapes, with aged Sauternes served chilled in a martini glass.
Absolut Citron Vodka, Pama Pomegranate Liqueur, freshly squeezed lemon juice, a dash of simple syrup and fresh mint, shaken, served up, topped with Champagne.
Tito’s Handmade Vodka, St. Germain elderflower liqueur, fresh squeezed lemon juice, and muddled basil. Served up with a sugared rim.
Cuervo Gold tequila, Cointreau, orange blossom water, muddled cilantro, and fresh squeezed lime juice. Served up or on the rocks.
Stoli Razberi, Godiva Chocolate liqueur, Baileys, Chambord, and espresso. Served up with shaved milk chocolate.
We start with Gran Patron Platinum Tequila, considered to be the best “silver” tequila available and add the 150th Anniversary Grand Marnier Cuvee Speciale Cent Cinquantenaire along with fresh limejuice and simple syrup. Shaken, strained into a decanter, and served tableside. This is a margarita experience beyond all others.
Artisinal Beer Selection
Here, at Bin 54, we hold our beers to the same standards we hold our wines: valuing small production, hands-on quality over massive production quantity and availability.
